In fact, you’re not so different to our friend Kevin:

Kevin was fit and healthy throughout his 20’s.

The fit, healthy man Kevin once was in his 20’s disappeared off the face of the Earth.

The problem is that when you lose sight of yourself, everybody else loses sight of you too.

Kevin realized he, with his protruding gut and lethargic lifestyle, could no longer be the attractive man his wife fell in love with...

And his career began to stagnate too...nobody respected him any longer because clearly no longer respected himself.

Kevin tried everything to get back into shape!

Every fad diet!

Every weight loss pill!

Every workout program!’

Kevin would start to see results after a few weeks and get really optimistic!

But then Kevin would very soon stop seeing results altogether

The pills stopped working, the diets were not sustainable, and the high intensity workouts became draining...

Nothing ever worked!

So Kevin would quit.

And after a couple months...Kevin was back to his old 60lbs too heavy self.

Kevin thought the problem was with him.

He thought he just didn’t have the willpower or discipline to EVER be fit and healthy again.

And then Kevin visited his doctor for his annual physical. The diagnosis terrified him...and changed his life forever...

Before we finish the story about Kevin,
allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Kevin Kroeker.

Yes, the Kevin from the story above.

I, like you, have struggled with weight loss for years, if not decades.

At 45 years old, my annual physical with my doctor changed my life forever.

But no matter how I rationalised it, I couldn’t shake that feeling of impending doom...

Driving home, I thought to myself, “Is this only the beginning?”

I saw the rest of my life play out before my very eyes.

High Cholesterol today.

High Blood Pressure tomorrow.

Then diabetes.

Obesity.

Heart attack.

And Death.

Yes, my high cholesterol was treatable. But treatment only reduced the symptoms. It didn’t address the problem.

And I was terrified...

I was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to change my lifestyle, lose the extra 60lbs, and become healthy once again.

I mean, I couldn’t do it in the past, so what makes me so confident I could do it now?

I was terrified I didn’t have much time left…

I was terrified that I wouldn’t be around long enough to keep providing for my family.

Or make more happy memories with my wife.

It wasn’t just cholesterol...I was a ticking time bomb.

I committed there and then that I would change my life for the better.

That’s when I deep-dived into the world of healthy living.

Of how our behaviours shape our future outcomes, and how we can make sustainable changes with tiny habits.

We all want immediate fixes, but we often struggle with long term solutions.

I no longer cared about the quick fixes promoted by fad diets and weight loss pills.

I wanted a long-term, sustainable solution to my weight problem and poor health.

But it was nowhere to be found……...so I made it myself.

And fast forward 4 years, I am about to turn 50, have dropped the 60lbs, and look like I did in my 20’s!

How did I do it?

Through building healthy habits.

I love waking up each day knowing that I get to eat the foods I love.

I am lean year round and have the energy I had when I was in my 20’s.

All because I now have a healthy relationship with food and exercise, and my automatic habits make it all sustainable.
